C2 Nano Passes 1000 Hour Ethylene Cracking Bench Tests at ORNL

Carbon deposit fouling and carburization cracking of steam or ethylene cracking furnace is the most severe fouling service in all petrochemical applications. Total worldwide production of ethylene and other basic petrochemical monomers via this process was 119.6 million tpy as of Jan. 1, 2008, with an expected growth of 2% per year for the next five years. FACT’s founder Dr. Ghaz Dickakian worked with Exxon Chemical for more than 35 years all over the world.
